Muckin vs Aone Outsourcing

Aone Outsourcing offers dedicated accountants from India on quoted fees. Muckin sells monthly seats from its own Pretoria office with UK sign-off.

Described from public websites, August 2026
  • Aone Outsourcing Solutions offers white-label accounting, bookkeeping and tax work to UK practices and businesses, with accountants in India and a London address in Islington.
  • Muckin is a named team in our own Pretoria office, sold as monthly seats, reviewed and signed off in the UK, rolling monthly.
  • Aone quotes each piece of work after a scoping call; Muckin publishes every seat price on /pricing/.
  • Aone offers a 15-day free trial and a named bookkeeper backed by a senior reviewer, so you can test it on your own work before you sign.

We've described Aone Outsourcing from its own public website as of October 2026; if anything here is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.

What Aone Outsourcing says it does

Aone Outsourcing Solutions describes itself as "a leading UK provider of white-label accounting outsourcing services tailored specifically for UK accountancy practices and small-to-medium enterprises". Its UK site lists bookkeeping, VAT reconciliation, year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, self assessment, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and its home page also mentions payroll. For practices it offers year-end work "under the accountancy practice's branding". It cites "500+ qualified accounting professionals" and "2,500+ businesses" served.

Its site carries the banner "Hire Expert Accountants from India" and a count of five-plus centres; we could not find where those centres are. The UK address it gives is 275 New North Road, Islington, London. Its data security page says "every team member works exclusively from our secured, monitored office" and lists Cyber Essentials and "ISO 27001 Aligned".

On how the work is done, the bookkeeping page says "You get a dedicated bookkeeper, supported by senior reviewers", and its comparison table lists "Named bookkeeper plus reviewer" and "Senior review before filing". Year-end accounts go through a "multi-layer internal audit" before a draft comes to you to review and approve. New clients can start with a "15-Day Free Trial". On price, the bookkeeping page gives the monthly cost as "Custom & flexible", and the year-end page says a quote follows "a preliminary scoping session". The home page offers "30% Off Standard Fees Until December 2026"; the standard fees themselves are not published. Its terms say fees are set in a Statement of Work for each engagement. We could not find a minimum term or notice period; the bookkeeping page invites you to try the trial "and then sign a long-term contract". Content for your own practice is not listed. What Muckin does

We do one thing: a production team for your practice, sold as monthly seats. A seat is one person in one role. A Production seat is a bookkeeper, a payroll and admin person or a marketer. An Accounts seat covers year-end accounts, CT600s, self assessment and management accounts. A Senior seat is a qualified accountant who can run a portfolio.

The people are employees in our own office in Pretoria, South Africa, and they work from that office. Pretoria is one to two hours ahead of the UK all year, so they are at their desks when you are. They work inside your own software under their own logins, white-label by default. Every job is reviewed and signed off in the UK before it reaches you, and you remain the signatory on everything that goes out to a client or HMRC. Full detail is on /how-it-works/.

Marketing is its own seat. Guides, newsletters, site updates and social posts are written by a marketer on your team, priced as a Production seat. See /what-we-do/marketing/.

Who should pick which

Pick Aone if you want a free trial before you commit, one named bookkeeper per client with a senior reviewer behind them, or a supplier that will also run accounts payable and receivable for your business clients. Aone's offer of 30% off its standard fees runs until December 2026, so a quote requested now may come in below its usual rates.

Pick Muckin if you want to see the price before the first call and to be able to stop on a month's notice. A seat is one named person for 40, 80 or 160 hours a month, working in your own software, and every job is reviewed and signed off in the UK before it reaches you. A 160-hour Production seat is £1,950 a month ex VAT, whatever the mix of bookkeeping, VAT and payroll in those hours.

Questions

Does Aone Outsourcing publish its prices?

No. Its bookkeeping page gives the monthly cost as "Custom & flexible", and its year-end page says a quote follows a scoping session. Muckin publishes every seat price on /pricing/.

Where does each team sit?

Aone's site invites you to "Hire Expert Accountants from India" and shows a count of five-plus centres without naming where they are; its UK address is in Islington, London. Muckin's team is in our own office in Pretoria, South Africa, one to two hours ahead of the UK.

Is there a minimum term with either?

We could not find one on Aone's site; its bookkeeping page describes a free trial followed by "a long-term contract". Muckin is rolling monthly with one month's notice.
